I have a tool down for more than 24 hours now, because perl screwed up and nobody is around on IRC to help me with perlbrew or local::lib or installing new software.

I would like someone to suggest that the number of people with access and knowledge of wikimedia-labs is increased (by adequate outreach and increase in staffing) and that these people are available on IRC.
