Measure the number of resolved and reopened topics
Open, MediumPublic

Description

The model for closing conversations was changed recently (from "locking" topics with a mandatory description to "resolving" them with an option to update the summary). We expect that to help users to better organise the boards, but it would be great to measure the real impact (are users closing more topics?).

Some possible aspects to measure:

  • How many topics were "locked" (and "unlocked") in a given month with the previous system (to set a baseline).
  • How many topics are "resolved" (and "reopened") per month on the new system.
  • How many "resolved" topics are summarised.
  • How many resolved topics are expanded by users to read their contents (ideally discriminating between those topics with summary and those without it).
