'Search' in Find & replace (Normal settings) doesn't work much at all
Closed, ResolvedPublicBUG REPORT

Description

I've noticed this issue for a long time.

When I search on a word (entering a word and clicking Search), it finds the word by moving the line pointer to that line, but the word I'm searching for isn't highlighted.

Then when I click Search again, expecting it to go to the next instance of the word, it doesn't do anything except temporarily flash on the same line.

@Stevietheman In order to highlight the selection you should enable "Highlight find matches" in Options menu.

Apart, perhaps, of the first time, that you need click twice, all the other times the search works fine.

I just tried this option, and it still does not work. I'm not sure why this is closed.

Reopened. I was wrong.

rev 12700 The Find & Replace "Go" button now carries out a search for next match (or start again if no matches after currently highlighted row), rather than always going to first match

Will be in next release of AWB
