Removing no-content links to empty LQT archives
Open, LowestPublic

Description

(From https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Talk:Flow/Mediawikiwiki_LQT_conversion_process by @Spage)

The LQT conversion on mw.org seems to have given many pages a description

Previous page history was archived for backup purposes at SOME_NS talk:Page name/LQT Archive 1

even when this archive has no topics and hence no history except "Page got LQT-ified" (and then the changes by Flow talk page manager to archive and Flowify it). See for example the page Extension talk:WikibaseLib/LQT Archive 1 and its history. There's nothing in the archive page, nothing of value in its history, so the useless archive link should be removed.

Is this by design? Is there a way to run a script to detect and delete this confusing reference when there's nothing worth finding in the archive and its history? Is there a replacement template for this case? (I suggest {{EMPTY LQT page converted to Flow}}, which takes the same parameters as {{LQT page converted to Flow}} but does nothing.)

LiquidThreads has been replaced by StructuredDiscussions on all Wikimedia production wikis (except one, which will be done soon). It is no longer under active development or maintenance, so I'm re-classifying all open LQT tasks as "Lowest" priority.
