File namespace for Haitian Wikipedia stopped working (Was this intentional?)
Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

Previously, this worked:

[[Imaj:Example.jpg|thumb|Caption]]

("Imaj" is Haitian Creole for "Image".) Now, that produces a messy redlink. The File: namespace is "Fichye:". Was the older "Imaj:" intentionally disabled?

Looks like "Imaj" was changed to point to the "User" namespace rather than "File" in 0a27d489e81de2d62165844987d0901a44e2ac21, probably unintentionally… but that was in 2011 :o

@siebrand (or anyone), would it be easy to fix this?
