We highly prefer not doing that, but if we must, you should get clearance from legal to verify that you're in accordance with the ToS :) (see T97846 for another example)

The only thing I can see that we would need to do from the other ticket is make it "obvious to a user that the project is hosted on Labs"

Hi @Addshore, could you add a line to the Legal Notice page explaining that the site is hosted on Wikimedia Labs, subject to the Labs Terms of Use. Other than that, the site appears to comply with the Terms of Use and I see no legal issue setting up the domain name.

Done. Remember to keep whois updated and be good citizens of the DNS system :) You can allocate the IP from Special:NovaAddress.
