Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

Basically, any wikifont icon that appears on an iOS device will appear as an iOS emoji. (originally reported at https://github.com/Brickimedia/brickimedia/issues/465 but moved upstream here). The mediawiki skin that shows in the screenshots are Refreshed, developed by Brickimedia.

@codynguyen1116 iOS and also Safari/Mac don't seem to load the http://en.brickimedia.org/skins/Refreshed/refreshed/wikifont/WikiFont-Glyphs.woff?23883 file.
Also looked into [[ http://stackoverflow.com/questions/16513203/iconfont-webfont-not-showing-in-iPhone-safari-browser | missing of text-rendering: optimizeLegibility; ]] as possible reason.

@codynguyen1116 Could you reproduce the not-loading issue in Safari/Mac?

I can reproduce it in iOS 9.3.1 Safari on an iPhone 5S. :) Here you go: (as for Mac, @MtMNC is the person to go to)

On Safari 9.1 (OS X 10.11.4), the font doesn't render at all. Nothing shows up, not even emoji.

@codynguyen1116 So it haven't had to do with WikiFont itself. Glad to hear that you've found a solution!
