@Halfak: You appear to have already +2'd something of @Ladsgroup's here, and @Ladsgroup certainly appears to be involved in the project (based on a brief glance at some of the pages). If this has your support, I'll go ahead and set up the groups and add @Ladsgroup.

I created research-ores, added you guys to it, and set it as the owner of research/ores.git (+manual submit rights, as you don't have jenkins auto-merging there - yet?). research/ores/wheels.git should inherit from there. Let me know if there are any issues.
