Currently, installing dependencies on Windows is difficult for many of our users. Conda allows for relatively easy 'virtual environments' (sort of) on Windows, which might ease that pain -- except installing packages manually is still difficult.

https://github.com/conda/constructor/tree/master/examples/maxiconda could be a solution to that: an installer that bundles miniconda + a set of selected packages in one Windows installer.
