My echo display on Wikidata went to "99+" recently when someone made a series of automated edits that linked to items I had created. I have gone through these as best I could, but I can only do so in steps of 50, and when I click "Mark group as read" while in "Unread" mode, the list turns blue to indicate the notifications have been read, but nothing else happens. I think the "read" ones should be removed from "unread" view.
