I'd say that that SocialProfile's documentation has been improved since then.. See:

The current documentation is located at https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Extension:SocialProfile - it's also more contained, with information on other related topics in their own page:

There'll soon be a Help:Extension:SocialProfile too (for user-facing documentation), so I'm going to close this now.

Technical documentation may be better, but user documentation is inexistent.

I'll try to document the most usable parts of the extension while fixing bugs
