Following a discussion with Llywelyn2000, please find below a sample usecase:

• display a map like this
• on Wikipedia page cy:Ffraid_(santes) without entering any coordinates manually (everything is already on Wikidata).
• The list on the page (cy:Ffraid_(santes)#Eglwysi ac enwau llefydd) already queries Wikidata.
• The definition for the map would be similar to Wikivoyage map : {{Mapframe|51.4833|-3.1833|zoom=12|height=400|width=|layer=M|staticmap=|align=}}

Wikivoyage maps are possible on Wikidata, but some limitation requires coordinates to be added twice to a page for actual display (at least that's my understanding).

Similar maps could be defined for numerous other lists.
