Event Timeline

@RobH: let's get this out ASAP, we need to have this in place before the switchover, start of April.

I'll create the required sub-tasks today.

I currently have a total of 5 spare pool systems in codfw. Of these 5, 3 of them may meet the specification required (and then only 2 are requested.)

WMF6466 & WMF6468
Purchased 2016-11-03 via T145112
Dual Intel® Xeon® Processor E5-2623
32GB RAM
1 Gbps NIC
The only thing that exceeds the request is these spare pool systems have 4 * 4TB SATA.

The only difference that a newly quoted system would have is a reduction in the SATA disks. It may not be worth re-quoting for just that, since we can allocate these spare pool systems.

I'm escalating this to @mark for his review/approvals/recommendation. Please provide feedback and assign back to me for implementation (allocation/potential quotes/etc).

I'll get started on setting up these systems during my workday tomorrow (Thursday).
