How do we proactively discover ideas that would make good blog posts?
Closed, DeclinedPublic

Description

There are meetings like Scrum of Scrums (for Tech) where people share what they've worked on and what's coming down the pipeline. How do we get looped into the ideas that come out of meetings like this without having to spend all of our time attending meetings?

Ideas:

  • we recruit allies who surface good ideas that take place across the org. (h/t @EdErhart-WMF)
  • we rotate who attends meetings like this, or maybe there are other meetings across the org. where we can scoop up ideas without having to do a lot of 1:1s
  • we automatically email everyone in the org. once a month asking what they're working on that might be useful for us to know about (I don't know if this is technically feasible.)
  • we have our own scrum of scrums for people who are interested in communications where we scoop up comms ideas on a regular basis

This is just a starting point for ideation and for us to discuss at our July 13th deep dive but more ideas are welcome!
