The watchlist star should not be put in the Vector dropdown menu, it simply looks bad. It should be either forced to not hide, or its hidden version (in the dropdown menu) should be textual instead of an icon. If I remember well, the former was the case before the last update (1.31.0-wmf.1).

Sorry for not being clear. I created a screenshot of the star in the dropdown menu. I had to zoom in, but it can become a problem at normal zoom on narrow screens and with certain languages (e.g. in Hungarian, “Edit source” is “Forrásszöveg szerkesztése”, which occupies much more space).
