This is not a bug as such, updates to site statistics have been disabled, because of database issues. it's being worked on.

Since afaik all the tools that keep statistics pages updated on meta rely on
either {{NUMBEROFARTICLES}} or Special:Statistcs, which is currently broken,
too, likely all published statistics since few days are wrong.

It's the same as Khmer Wikipedia (http://km.wikipedia.org/). A few pages were created but the statistics of kmwiki doesn't change.
