We would like to enable uploading of OpenDocument text (.odt) files on the Swedish chapter's wiki (Wikimedia Sverige, http://se.wikimedia.org).

What kind of wiki is this? Most chapter wikis have restricted registration, so the security concerns are mitigated.
MZMcBride is correct, the wiki is only open to registered members in the chapter. Anyone can make an account but to upload or edit pages, one has to be in the group "medlem" (member) which is manually checked in our register.
