When you create a page and then click "edit source" you get "Resume your edit?" popup

Description

In 2017 wikitext editor (source mode) when you create a page, publish it, and click "edit source" you will get the following popup:

"Resume your edit?"
"This page was edited since you last loaded it. Would you like to resume your edit of the old version, or start a new edit of the latest version?"

Maybe that's related to the auto-save feature?

It is. Looks like we do a full page post when creating a new page, so #teardown doesn't get called to clear the auto-save.
