Description

This edit https://commons.wikimedia.org/w/index.php?title=File:TexasFM4498.png&diff=prev&oldid=328897498 apparently caused an email to be sent to Fredddie because his userpage is linked from https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Texas_FM_4001.svg.

This was a part of a batch deletion on Commons using an automated tool, so 499 emails were sent to him.

Which exact kind of email / notification was sent?

It was an Echo notification - "A page you created was linked to on Wikimedia Commons"

But Fredddie didn't create File:Texas_FM_4001.svg so it must have come from a link on that page. He can comment further if more detail is required.
