[[MediaWiki:Babel-4-n/fr]] wrongly labelled as FUZZY
Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

Hello,

[[MediaWiki:Babel-4-n/fr]] seems to be wrongly labelled as FUZZY because of use of $4.

French has gender, so we need to use $4 to distinguish male and female users.

For some reason, using $4 makes the message labelled as FUZZY. At the same time, other messages in French (e.g. [[MediaWiki:Babel-3-n/fr]]) and other -4 messages (e.g. [[:MediaWiki:Babel-4-n/es]]) work with $4 and are not labelled as FUZZY.

An expected behaviour is having $4 allowed.

Change 549110 had a related patch set uploaded (by Nikerabbit; owner: Nikerabbit):
[translatewiki@master] Fix some group names in check blacklist

This file really needs a validator to clean it up. Also ideally these things would be in the group configuration (CC @abi_).

Change 549110 merged by jenkins-bot:

Patch is merged. Is there anything left to do in this task, or can this be resolved?

Nikerabbit claimed this task.
