Weekly update: Gather internship proposals within the team, and shared the requirements with @leila

On my end: I received 3 requests from diego and submitted them as requests to the CTO. waiting to hear back.

@diego I have Grant's approval for this. Here is what's next:

• Please forward to me the conversation you had with Finance re the budget going across two FYs. I'll take the backend ;) budget part from there.

• In parallel to me finalizing the budget components with Finance, please work on creating a shortlist of candidates. For each candidate, please determine their geography and then send me a list of cities for in which you may have an intern in and what level they would be hired in if they were to be hired in WMF today. Use the leveling framework for assessing the level. If you're in doubt, ping privately and I can help. (Note that the pay should be prorated for the number of weeks they will work with us. The initial fixed payment won't work.)

• The focus should be to have interns who can help us move faster towards the FY and MTP commitments. I'd like to see the research question(s) they will work on before it's communicated to them.

• There is some preference to have interns local to the geography of the mentors, to be able to provide human connection (in person) at least a few times a week. Please take that into consideration.

• This is an experiment. Let's reassess after the end of this first round to see how/if to proceed with the possible future ones. Please keep notes of what goes well, what needs improvement, what can be a show-stopper, etc.
