Can't write Chinese character with Korean keyboard(Source editor, Visual Editor)
Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

Hello!

I have a problem with Chinese character conversion.

Here's my system.

  • Chrome 79.0.3945.130(Official Build) (64bit)
  • Windows 10 Home 10.0.18362 Build 18362

Here's how to repeat the problem.

  1. Visit Any sandbox page.
  2. type "상" in Korean
  3. use "한자" key, which is used for conversion between Korean characters and Chinese character.
  4. press number 1
  5. type "류" in Korean

After that, Chinese character disapears.

I realized this problem happens in this website as well.

Thank you so much for your efforts :)

I don't know about Chinese IME stuff, but Can Reproduce on Chrome v79.0.3945.130 (stable)/Windows 10 Education Version 1909 (Build 18363.592). Using default Microsoft IME.

Cannot repro on Firefox version 72.0.1 (also cannot repro on FF 72.0.2 (latest)) on Windows.
