In investigating the parent task I found that we lost some activity types in the upgrade due to this bug https://lab.civicrm.org/dev/core/issues/1498 (actually caused be another bug fix of ours I upstreamed). I need to fix this & also the loss of partner field on dedupe screen (which I somehow wiped out)
