InternetArchiveBot exposing text in HTML comments
Open, Needs TriagePublic

Description

This is probably an incredibly odd situation, but in its edit to the English Wikipedia Niccolò Paganini page, InternetArchiveBot tried to add an HTML comment within an already existing one, thus breaking the comment and exposing most of the underlying text in the "Travelling virtuoso" section:
https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Niccol%C3%B2_Paganini&diff=944818420&oldid=943205543

The text was subsequently removed by an IP ... probably correctly, as I'm about to write on the talk page:
https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Niccol%C3%B2_Paganini&diff=949029123&oldid=947138636

I'm not sure what would be the best thing to do in this circumstance.
