Okay,
For the project with @Halfak any risks would arise from the internal histories of historical ores scores of revisions. The rest of the data used in the project is the publicly available wikimedia histories and derived from the open source ores projects.. I expect that this will be low-risk since I'm aware of plans to release the ores scores publicly. I'm not sure, but this might relate to other fields in the ores scores table I used. In the data that I saved in my home directory, the only fields I kept from the scores table are the revision scores.

I also realized that there are files in my home directory from a previous project using reading time data. This of course would be riskier to release and I don't think it's a good idea. These are in the directory reading_time I don't need them, but it would give me some comfort if they are backed up somewhere since they were used in published research.

@Groceryheist of course, no problem! What we usually ask is either to delete or to move the files under somebody else's ownership, to have better management of PII data. I would prefer that the files would move to the ownership of an active user (@leila might give more guidance) if they need to be kept for long (not sure how much time will take for the paper to be accepted etc..).

As a researcher, I totally get this. However, we cannot hold on to this kind of data for a long time. We will have to delete this. (Just so you know: this is the same policy we apply to "why we read wikipedia" line of research. We keep aggregated/anonymized data for a year after publication in case of questions and then purge. This is not ideal from the scientific point of view, but with the resources we currently have, I'm convinced is the right thing to do.)

@Groceryheist I checked with Legal and your MOU is active with us until the end of September and that timeline covers your needs. Here is my ask to you: please work with the data that you need, and update the paper. When you are at the point of exporting code and data from the servers, please send me an email and I'll schedule a call to review them with you one by one and approve the transfer of the copy.

Thank you @akosiaris. For your info, my revisions deadline was just extended from September 9 to October 15th. I'll be able to wrap up this project by the end of September. But I might still be working after the 9th.
