I was told that it is not possible to create a reference using QID via Visual Editor on Wikipedia. Even there are just a few book's items on Wikidata it would be nice Citoid can create a citation from QID on English Wikipedia.

@Mvolz, the citations are all ending up in {{cite web}}, even if they're books or journal articles. Can you fix that?

There's a wikidata translator that should be able to determine the type, but it's not perfect and is limited by the metadata in the wikidata item. If the wikidata item doesn't state that it is a book the translator won't be able to determine that and it will default to web.
