This bug is no longer present on IE11. Can anyone check to see if this is an issue on any supported IE versions?

IE 6 & IE 7 are no longer supported.

FWIW... using the Emulator in IE 11's Developer Tools, IE 8, 9 and 10 do not exhibit the originally reported behavior.

While this is not the same as actually testing for the issue under those three specific versions of IE, the latest Emulator has been rather reliable for a mickysoft app (check out this month's dump on Windows Update for latest Dev Tools).

I'm comfortable enough to recommend close on top of the fact IE 7 has fallen from the list of supported agents regardless.

Resolved by waiting too long.
