As part of the Wikipedia Library partnerships, I was accessing GALE, and the CITOID tool didn't provide proper scrapers for several of their sources, so I ended up copy and pasting one of their preformatted citations: https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Coal_refuse&type=revision&diff=971725807&oldid=971481649&diffmode=visual . Would love to get proper metadata off their PURL.

Gale has special instructions for generating citations via this access, but it looks like those instructions are outdated and don't account for their new interface. The Get Link option appears to work with Citoid - Alex, can you verify?

Yep, I was using the getlink urls like:
*https://link.gale.com/apps/doc/A171034250/GPS?u=wikipedia&sid=GPS&xid=dbbf72df

, but they weren't generating citations on Citoid so fell back on the
preformatted citations which are three buttons over. *
