Unable to create new instance of flavour "g2.cores8.ram16.disk1120"
Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

Thank you cloud services team for creating the custom flavour "g2.cores8.ram16.disk1120".

I went to try and launch an instance with that flavour today, but it was not able to spin-up. Instead I got the error message.

No valid host was found. There are not enough hosts available.

I'm guessing perhaps that 1.12TB are not available, since I was able to launch (and delete) instances of smaller flavours.
Can you let me know how to proceed?

Thanks,
Max and humaniki team.

It seems openstack tried to schedule your VM in non-available hypervisors:

I've fixed the scheduling pool. Could you please @notconfusing try to create a new VM now?

I just tested it by creating a test vm in the project and still errors out, looking:

Fixed it :), there was an issue with the properties in the flavor (extra quoting xd):

@dcaro great. I was able to create it now! Thanks for all the help. This is resolved.
