BeTheme is not free, it's a legacy which the previous webmaster (Web Elettronica) bought from https://themes.muffingroup.com/ . In the 2020-06-30 meeting with NP it was agreed to replace the theme with a freely licensed one.

The new WMIT supplier can and should at any rate share/distribute under a free license whatever additions or modifications they made.

BeTheme is part of Envato. Usually their themes are covered by the GNU GPL v2. We can contact them quickly with an Envato purchase code. Who could have it?

I agree with you both on ethical and legal point of view.

But from a technical one it has no sense redistribute the WMI theme:

1. It is not a good code, both in backend and front-end
2. It is very custom theme, with heavy dependences form thirth party plugins
3. A big part of the front-end is made using the three installed editors: Guttenberg (default one), Elementor, BeBuilder (the BE editor)
4. Another big part of the front-end is made using the BE configurations

When I had to rewrite it, as quick as possible, due to some secutity e stability issues, I had to move all existing templates and styles in the new one to do not breake all the existing contents.

Sincerly its not a good work to be proud of.
