We would just need to enable warnings again (which are now disable with ignorewarnings set at 1). Then we would get upload warnings (which we would need to somehow manage) such as:
It seems like in the app there is already this kind of check (wlm-app-api/serializers.py). Could be improved by using Commons API and not just 200 OK.
python
def validate(self, attrs):
out = super().validate(attrs)
image = out["image"]
title = out["title"]
ext = Path(image.name).suffix
title = f"File:{title}{ext}"From my experiments, you'll need to:
- run npm install
- run npm run dev to get the webserver working

This would be very useful. In articles with infobox templates e.g. https://it.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nienburg/Weser, graphs tend to "clear" instead of "floating" next to the infobox.
Fixed in the latest release
Definitely essential as it is used on many Wikipedia articles (and has the potential to illustrate with useful data even more!)

Should've been fixed with the latest release but waiting for confirmation.

Sì effettivamente è come avevo pensato io la mia implementazione in primo luogo.

The Wikidata JS API could be simply integrated into the backend of the app. If this is not included in the next developements (and it's a simple change that could be included), we can try to work on it together as soon as it is possible.
I can prepare this list if you are still interested.

Visto che parliamo di internazionalizzazione, potrebbe avere senso anche coinvolgere una più ampia comunità internazionale in quest'operazione.
(Ovviamente condivido)

Is there any update @MSantos? The bug is still there.

@Aklapper Ouch, the original are 50+ MB, I think Imgur does some sort of compression. I've now downloaded them from Imgur and uploaded here.
@Aklapper I tried two times: with a gif and with a mp4, but Phabricator continued giving me this error (which hasn't been fixed since then):
Exception: No configured storage engine can store this file. See "Configuring File Storage" in the documentation for information on configuring storage engines.
(The website is temporarily offline due to updates for the 2021)
Ouch! Thanks @valerio.bozzolan

L'errore non si presenta più, giusto @Maupao70?

Ok, I've discovered the cause of the Invalid consumer key error: Apache mod_cgi stripped the Authorization header.
It was easily fixed with this line in .htaccess or in the virtual host configuration
SetEnvIf Authorization "(.*)" HTTP_AUTHORIZATION=$1
Now the wiki is reporting another error: Invalid signature.
I'm not willing to investigate this other issue, so I've moved the wiki on another server and there it's working.
Further help to learn and eliminate the root cause of the issue would be appreciated.

Fatto! Sostituito con ti.osm

@JJMC89 Excuse me, they are two different channels. I think that two different tasks are needed, aren't they?
Ok, the library has been updated and I've set a more compliant user-agent. Now the app user-agent is: "Wiki Loves Monuments Italia app/2.1.2 (https://github.com/ferdi2005/monumenti; ferdinando.traversa@wikimedia.it) ti.osm/1.0.1"
I think that I'm compliant with the map policy (it's a Wikimedia projects tool, indeed it helps in uploading photo to Commons, it has a descriptive user-agent and I've also posted a notice about its usage).
It's a mobile application, there isn't a domain. 😄 I forgot to provide a link to the example usage, which is the application itself (Play store - Github). @Reedy
@Reedy It seems descriptive enough anyway (and includes contact information, even if indirectly)
Hi, I'm using the Wikimedia tiles for the Wiki Loves Monuments Italy app by Wikimedia Italy. The HTTP user-agent is it.wikimedia.wikilovesmonuments.
I think that it's suitable for an exception. 😄
I'm an administrator of the @itwikipedia Telegram group and, seen the fact that the group is public, I see no problem in creating this bridge. @bd808

I've just discovered that I'm not affected by this problem at all. I've updated the description accordingly.
May 26 2021
I've been asked to update this task and therefore here we are.
I'm not actually planning to work on moving those tools to ToolForge and I'm comfortable with the current situation.
Thank you really much for all the past help.

@Aklapper @Ladsgroup I don’t see in that document that’s mandatory to have a custom app, but only that if you have a custom app, you must follow these instructions. Is there any other document?
Is there any switch in the settings?

I suggested this in July 2020, so I'm really glad that's happening. This change gives more authority to the domain as an official domain of our association and makes it more trustworthy.

This is not only on it.wikinews.
I have not steward scripts and someone saw it as unlogged. @Jdlrobson
@Reedy so the problems happens also to you, see that big strange wikispecies that is doubled. Could you please send a full screenshot so it’s more visible?
@Reedy for Wim B this also happens on Chrome.
This also happens on italian Wikipedia in the page https://it.wikipedia.org/wiki/Progetto:GLAM/Museoscienza
Safari last version on macOS and iOS. This happens on some page, I can’t identify the pattern, for example https://it.wikinews.org/wiki/Wikinotizie:Bar from the screenshot.
STEP TO REPRODUCE:
- Open https://it.wikinews.org/wiki/Wikinotizie:Bar
- See that the “In other projects” is not normal.

@Esanders @ppelberg I can confirm that when I open the manual section of the references box and click with the cursor of the trackpad on one of the buttons of that box, the references box disappears and I can’t add any manual reference. This doesn’t happen when I tap with the finger or the cursor itself, this happens only when I click, as seen in the video before.
