Easier way to understand volunteers impact/interaction with WMF teams
Open, Stalled, LowPublic

Description

I'd love a list or something of volunteer coders who contribute actual line codes/review/whatever (both on a steady and on an irregular basis) to WMF teams in Product and Tech.
This would show how many volunteers are actually a currently important part in the development ecosystem of Product teams (Tech would have just been for extra info/comparison reasons).
In my mind, I would be able to obtain something like,
"Team X is composed of Alice, Bob, Claudia and Dario. Dario is a volunteer. Dario contributed n patches and n code reviews in 2020, which amount to 10% of the work done by the team in that time frame".

My current understanding is that compiling such information, if not possible thru queries, would basically require knocking on each team's door, asking how many volunteers they have, and then counting their contributions.
While tedious and long, I feel like this would probably benefit teams to build a narrative that literally anyone could understand,
and show how fundamental it is to have these folks around and how we could use more of them.
