As pointed out in T272842#6782072, InternetArchiveBot normalizes some archive URLs (with an impossible-to-translate edit summary, see T187600) unless the project specifically asks it not to do so. It should not unless the project specifically asks it to do so—while archival of rotten links is probably generally accepted, any normalization steps are potentially highly controversial and may be considered as unnecessary flooding of watchlists and page histories.
