When I subscribed to test@lists-next.wikimedia.org, the “welcome” email had the header To: None <mail@lucaswerkmeister.de>, which is not the name I gave on the registration form.
(The “confirm” mail only has To: mail@lucaswerkmeister.de.)

Just to make sure, you filled out *some* name right? So this is a bug of the name being ignored and replaced with None - and not a case where a empty string value is converted into a None?
