Besides restucturing the config options for fields (see T275264: Rework field configurability in the details step), all other configuration options should be reviewed:

• Is the option needed at all?
• Is the name reasonably good?
• Is the default value good?

This should all be done before the initial release to reduce incompatibilities later.
