Unable to move translation pages in Meta-Wiki

Description

I just tried to move several pages on Meta-Wiki, and all meet the same issue:

 21:30, 19 October 2021 Pols12 talk contribs encountered a problem while moving page Community Wishlist Survey/declined/en to Template:Community Wishlist Survey/declined

 21:37, 19 October 2021 Pols12 talk contribs encountered a problem while moving page WMDE Technical Wishes/in development/ko to Template:WMDE Technical Wishes/in development

Notes:

  • According to log, system tries to move translation pages (/en, /ko) over source page (which has already been moved, so it already exists. Maybe that’s why it fails and log it)
  • These are trans-namespace moves (from main to Template:).
  • /en translation page for target is well created (so it is a duplicate since original one is kept), but other translations are not created
  • No issue in for unit pages in Translations: namespace.

This has been fixed. The problem was with moving translatable pages across namespaces.

We tested it on Translatewiki.net. See:
