Change colour of internal, external and interwiki links
Closed, DeclinedPublic

Description

Author: fridaesdoom

Description:
The current colour of the internal, external and interwiki links is too bright, I suggest changing them to a darker - but still noticeable - colour, like a dark blue. The current scheme is too intrusive and stands out too much, making it subtler yet still noticeable would be ideal, so then reading text would be less annoying for those with sensitivity to bright colours (such as myself). It would be a trivial change and I'm sure it wouldn't require much.

Would this be plausible?

If just for you, you can add to [[special:mypage/common.css]] :

html a, html div#content a.extiw {color: navy}

To do for everyone in MediaWiki is probably less likely to happen...

Users wishing to modify the colors of links can do so as Bawolff described in comment 2. It is rather unlikely that MediaWiki's link colors will change, as they are in fact intended to stand out, and many users are accustomed to the current text styles. Marking wontfix.
