List of steps to reproduce (step by step, including full links if applicable):

  • MediaWiki 1.37, VisualEditor 0.1.2, UML 0.7, GraphViz 3.0.0
  • Man öffnet mit dem VisualEditor (Bearbeiten) eine Seite mit Textangaben und UML Diagrammen. Es werden nur textliche Anpassungen auf dieser Seite durchgeführt. Anschliessend wird die Seite gespeichert. Nun sind alle UML Diagramme, welche auf dieser Seite vorhanden waren, verloren. Im normalen Wiki-Editor funktioniert alles korrekt. Nur bei der Bearbeitung mit dem VisualEditor funktioniert es nicht.

Google translate: "With the VisualEditor (Edit) you open a page with text information and UML diagrams. Only textual adjustments will be made on this page. The page is then saved. Now all UML diagrams that were present on this page are lost. In the normal wiki editor everything works correctly. It only doesn't work when editing with the VisualEditor."

Noting that this is a third party support issue, relating to an extension not used on WMF wikis.

Ok, thanks for your message. Then I will contact VisualEditor support with this problem.

hi @Dansnider – so you are aware, you have submitted this issue to the right place. Although, the Editing-team (the team responsible for the VisualEditor) does not have the capacity to troubleshoot issues with third party issues at this time.
