On a page with few other language versions, the current language switcher uses a single column layout. This brings a side effect that the search bar may fail to show the whole hint text, causing confusion. Example page: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nubian_wig?useskin=vector-2022
More info: that narrow width can hold at most five CJK characters, barely six.
I can't replicate this issue, now that "Add languages" has been added. Is it still a problem?
I believe it is still a problem. Here is the screenshot. The hint text is still clipped.
Chrome 109.0.5414.122, Windows 11 22H2, my screen is 1920 x 1080. No zooming. Vector 2022.
Requires a page that has only few interlanguage links so that they can fit in a single-column layout.
