Hi,
Steps to replicate the issue (include links if applicable):

  • Ip Info is still activated in my preferences
  • I have seen this tool before (user right)

What happens?: I no longer see this tool, for example in a page like Special:Contributions/XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX where the Xs replace an IP address

IP Info can be enabled in the global preferences, but IP Info is not visible locally, as long as the box "IP Information tool guidelines" is not checked locally. You have to activate it locally to make the checkbox appear.

I think once you agree the first time, it should be valid every time.
