Amazon requesting URL removal to avoid violation
Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

From Amazon:
Our Internal team have identified a non-functioning URL https://payments.samazon.com which is an AUP Violation. The URL is located in Amazon Pay Seller Central - Integration - Integration Central - View client ID/store ID(s) - Return URLs . Can you please remove this URL so I can appeal internally to ensure there is no negative impact to your account? Or explain why this URL may be in the system?

Amazon goes on to explain that this URL violates the 'acceptable use policy'. This is their policy and with this request in mind, it seems there’s a suspicious return URL that they are not sure what it is.

@EMartin So when I go into our console I can see those URLs listed there but when I go to remove them by clicking on the pencil icon they disappear and I cannot remove them.

@Cstone - ok let me reply to the thread concerning this with our technical contact at Amazon.

Update from Amazon team -

"Have an update, it appears while I was out that our internal team blocked that address in Seller Central, making it un-editable.

At this point we need no further steps taken by the team on this.

I’ll follow up if we need anything else."
