Description

Steps to replicate the issue (include links if applicable):

  • Set the browser to use a larger font size (e.g. "very large" in Chrome), or use the browser developer tools to change the font size on the html element to something larger than 100%.
  • Get someone to leave a message on your talk page so that the "You have a new talk page message" message is shown.

What happens?:

The text in the message is a fixed font size (12px) instead of scaling up.

What should have happened instead?:

The text should scale up.

Stalled for now until we get more guidance about how font scaling should work across non-article text.

I believe the Growth team maintains this banner. I recently saw a ticket relating to IP masking so perhaps this could be reviewed as part of that?
