Description

In an effort to promote inclusive language and standardize how we name the primary git branch name for our tools/extensions, we should:

agree to name the primary git branch main for new git repos
rename any existing primary git branches to main where possible

I'd very very much prefer to defer Gerrit repos to T281593: Rename mainline Git branch from "master" to "main" on all WMF-hosted repositories during GitLab migration to not cover another if|then|else|goodluckguessing case on https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Gerrit/Tutorial (it's already confusing enough for new contributors).
