With Codex design tokens distributed by the MediaWiki core/ResourceLoader skin variables system in T325237, and more and more extensions relying on the skin-aware solution, MonoBook needs to be provided with a better tailored solution.
Extensions relying on variables provided via @import 'mediawiki.skin.variables.less'; in Monobook a presented in a harmonious way as the rest of the skin.
