Hi @lojo, welcome to Wikimedia Phabricator! This Phabricator account does not use a @wikimedia.de email address, and currently there is no WMDE mediawiki.org SUL account associated with your Phabricator account. Could your WMDE manager please provide a confirmation in this task? Thanks.

I think this is superseded by https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/T335941 but will look now into changing my email association.

I was thinking I'd keep lorenjohnson@gmail.com for WikiTech and Phabricator, as I have done for Github. However, if it's the best or only way I'm happy to change those all to loren.johnson@wikimedia.de (definitely using that unique account for anything content-based). Hope that makes sense and appreciate direction as I'm still getting onboard.

Ok, I've now updated my Phabricator address here to loren.johnson@wikimedia.de and aligned my WMDE mediawikie.org account to the same address.

for the record: It's perfectly fine to have 2 accounts, one with work email and one with volunteer/personal email, if you really prefer that. some people do this, other's don.t

[general comment] For staff and contractors of legal entities I strongly recommend using an account for paid work that's clearly identifiable as a work account for the sake of transparency, accountability, and security (policies etc), to keep such paid work separated from volunteer work.

@lojo Hi! I am the clinic duty person, can you help me understand what is the "Wikibase Suite Team development" service you refer to in the description?

@jijiki I am an employee of WMDE on a new team called "Wikibase Suite". I think my request above has been consolidated into a team-wide request and has been handled, so this can be closed. Thank you for your attention on this!

Hey @KFrancis! Could you please set up @lojo with their NDA? Thank you!

@lojo Please send an email to @KFrancis (https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/User:KFrancis_(WMF)) to continue with the NDA signing process.

I will send an email to @KFrancis now. I however think the following needs to happen here with my Phabricator account to bring it into compliance with WMDE Employee conventions:

  1. Update my username from lojo to lojo_wmde
  2. Associate this account to my MediaWiki account Loren Johnson (WMDE)

I don't see a way to accomplish either of those tasks myself, but likely am missing something. Please advise? Thank you for the help, still new here 😅

Excellent. I've linked them. Thank you!

Mentioned in SAL (#wikimedia-operations) [2023-05-11T23:39:31Z] <mutante> LDAP - added uid lorenjohnson to groups wmde nda T335858

@lojo_wmde You have been added to groups "wmde" and "nda" as requested. Everything should work now.

Let us know if there are any issues.
