If a redirect links to a deleted page, it should be tagged CSD G8. Apparently it is somewhat common.

Therefore, G8 should be added to the list of deletion tags available. If there's a way to make it only show up for redirects, that'd be preferred, else have it show up for everything.

Will probably want to modify https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MediaWiki:PageTriageExternalDeletionTagsOptions.js

I had to create a new template for the message sent to the creator's talk page: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Template:Redirnone-warn-NPF. Tweak, if needed.

The part about only showing this deletion tag for redirects cannot be done as yet. We have to wait for T320316: CurationToolbar: Show only relevant CSD criteria and maintainence tags, depending on page type
