cloudlb: review swift/radosgw status
Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

One of the main goals of the whole cloudlb project was to enable a new swift API for openstack.

We should test that swift/radosgw really works in the new setup.

Event Timeline

Is the swift/radosgw setup up and running? Or this includes setting it up? (I don't remember what was the last status for it, sorry)

I believe the radosgw system was deployed in codfw1dev, and it was kind of working before all the cloudlb work.

This is now working via the CLI. The Horizon panel has a serious bug which prevents uploading any files; it produces the message 'This name already exists.'

I also need to understand and set default quotas before we can release this to the public.

I'm closing this task since the radosgw works well in the cloudlb / cloud-private setup @ codf1dev, which was the purpose of this task.
