In T356822 we decided that inverting icons with a CSS filter from black to white would be sufficient for most of our needs for the mobile skin. However, while this approach works for converting black icons to white, it doesn't work for changing icons to specific colours.

The ability to transform icons into specific colours already exists in the mobile last-modified bar:

Can (or should) we apply this approach to all icons in Minerva?
