@Aklapper , @Anoop , do you know if I should ping someone in particular to take in charge this task?

@Andyrom75 , currently namespace 100 Portale and Main namespace is set as wgNamespacesToBeSearchedDefault should i remove (100) Portale namespace and add Template and Module namespaces

currently i have set main, portal, template and module namespaces to be search by default in below patch, please confirm if that is fine to proceed for deployment

@Anoop thanks for your support, NS:Portale (100) can be removed because is composed by old out-of-date content (not deleted only for historical reference)

Hi @Anoop,
I've noticed the following behaviors:

  1. In https://it.wikivoyage.org/w/index.php?search=&title=Speciale%3ARicerca are listed only the NS Template (10) and Modulo (828). So If I search for "Firenze", it's not shown the relevant article that is in main NS (0)
  2. In random page, for example https://it.wikivoyage.org/wiki/Pagina_principale, if I repeat the search "Firenze", the relevant article is suggested during typing, but if I search for Quickfooter, it not suggested neither the template nor the module

It's a matter of time (cache?) or there's an issue that shall be fixed?

It displays Firenze article on search bar and Special:Search for me correctly

@Anoop, from the homepage, if I click on "Ricerca" (i.e. Search) button, I'll land to the page https://it.wikivoyage.org/w/index.php?search=&title=Speciale:Ricerca, and here, differently from your srceenshot, I can see only two NS pre-selected: "Template" and "Modulo". "(Principale)" (i.e. "(Main)") is missing.
Maybe is this the reason why I can't see "Firenze" within the search result.

main namespace is visible for me while logged in and also when logged out , it may have been your your personal preference which could have been set to only template & module, can you check it and change it to default

@Anoop I don't know how to reset my current default, but I've found the checkbox to set a new one. In a way or another I've solved my personal issue :-)
Now I see all the three NSs. Thanks
