Right Sidebar "Toolbox" has limited height
Open, LowPublicBUG REPORT

Description

Steps to replicate the issue (include links if applicable):

Use Vector 2022 on a 2K monitor and scroll the page down and up.

What happens?:
See video:

The left sidebar is stuck to the main article content and gets scrolled together with it (which is fine).

What is not fine:

  • The right sidebar appears to live its own life (doesn't scroll together with the rest of the page).
  • It can fit on my 2K monitor but nevertheless displays as always "too tall" and has its own scroll bar. At the same time, there is plenty of whitespace above it.
  • The scrolling is inconsistent - when I scroll having my pointer inside the toolbox and not moving the cursor, it only works for the toolbox. I have to move the cursor to involve the rest of the page in scrolling.

What should have happened instead?:
The right sidebar should behave the same as the left sidebar. Be a part of the page.
